I have spent quite a bit of time with my family hiking, boating, and participating in other outdoor activities. I have many enjoyable and lasting memories while camping with my family and spending time in the outdoors. Especially in this beautiful area. Several years ago on a hot summer day, my family went on a rafting trip that we all enjoyed.
That day will always be remembered by me, the bright sun, the white waves crashing into us, and my siblings screaming in delight. One time my aunt took me hiking on Maryland Heights for my birthday, I remember looking down and around at the beautiful landscape while eating lunch. It was simply amazing.
Sometimes I think we get too caught up in work that we forget to enjoy life. Personally, I just keep on going, but I realize that I need to stop and smell the roses.
